Welcome to the Abington Senior Community Center, providing area residents in Lackawanna County the opportunity to experience recreational, cultural and educational programming in a friendly atmosphere.  We are located at 1151 Winola Road in Clarks Summit, PA.  The Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.  Lunch is served daily at Noon.  Our facility includes a state of the art kitchen, large social hall, fitness/recreational room, and dance and exercise room.

The Abington Senior Community Center is managed by Telespond Senior Services, Inc. in conjunction with the Site Council Volunteers, a diverse group of Center members and community leaders and is funded in part under a contract with the Pennsylvania Department of Aging and the Lackawanna County Board of Commissioners through  the Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging.    



 
Our Open House held Sunday, May 5th was a huge success!  We would like to thank everyone, including our members and area businesses for all their support and dedication to the Center!

Call the Center to make your reservation for our Memorial Day Party which will be held on May 22nd at 11:00 a.m.!
